COLUMBUS — “Work has started on a long-awaited wind project for Hardin and Logan counties.

Innogy, a German-based renewable energy company, said today that construction will start this spring on the $300-million project that will place 72 turbines in the counties. The project will be operational by the end of 2020.

The 242-megawatt project will generate enough power to light 60,000 homes.”
