City of Cincinnati on record opposing “Fossil Fuel Corporate Welfare Bill”

CINCINNATI- – On May 30, Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley signed a resolution opposing HB 6 and reaffirming the city’s commitment to goals laid out the Paris Climate Agreement. The resolution outlines concerns including higher utility bills for consumers, repealing state renewable energy and energy efficiency standards and jobs. Copies were sent to Governor DeWine, Lieutenant Governor Husted, Ohio House and Senate leadership and all Cincinnati-area state legislators.
