COLUMBUS — “Gov. John Kasich has named a Democrat and a Republican to fill the two open seats on the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.

The new commissioners are Larry Friedeman, a Democrat, of Waterville in Lucas County, and Daniel Conway, a Republican, of Upper Arlington.

Both men have long worked on energy-regulatory issues that have gone before the PUCO.”
