COLUMBUS — “Lynn Slaby will not seek another five-year term on the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, meaning the face of the regulatory agency will soon be drastically different.
Slaby told Ohio Gov. John Kasich of his decision in a letter on Monday. His choice means there will be two new commissioners on the five-person regulatory agency this spring.
‘Ohio is still facing many challenges in the future. I would have liked to be a part of addressing and working toward a solution to those challenges. However, after much thought and many prayers, my wife and I believe it is time for me to move on to another adventure in our lives,’ Slaby wrote.”
