CINCINNATI — The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals today ruled in favor of Ohio Citizen Action in its case challenging canvass restrictions in the City of Englewood. Englewood had imposed a 6 p.m. curfew on door-to-door canvassing, which was struck down by the court. The decision by Judges Helene White, Jane Stranch, and Avern Cohn (sitting by designation) was unanimous. Ed Icove, Ohio Citizen Action general counsel, and Dan Kobil, Professor of Law at Capital University, were the lead attorneys for Ohio Citizen Action on the case.
