Seitz named chairman of House Public Utilities Committee

OhioHouseOfRepsCOLUMBUS — “Bill Seitz will have a seat at the head of the table this year when debate around the future of Ohio electric policy flares up.

The Cincinnati Republican, a longtime fixture on the Statehouse energy scene, will chair the House Public Utilities Committee. Rep. Rick Carfagna, R-Genoa Township, is the vice chairman.

Seitz’s Senate run ended at the end of 2016 because of term limits and he ran for a seat in the Ohio House. He chaired the same utilities committee in the Senate.”
