Chris Young joined Ohio Citizen Action in October 2003 as a phone canvasser. In 2005, he moved into the role of Database Manager and soon took on additional responsibility for IT, working to ensure that the entire organization had its technology needs met and maintained. That expanded role was formalized in 2022, when he was named Director of IT.

In his dual role, Chris keeps the membership database secure while giving the Program and Canvass staffs the tools and resources they need to do their work well.

Outside the office, Chris helps run multiple science fiction fan conventions across the country and around the world. He’s a longtime fan of sci-fi, comic books, music, baseball, and above all he loves spending time with his kids.
