Brian Poindexter for U.S. House District 7

Brian Poindexter is running for Congress in Ohio’s 7th District. As a union ironworker who grew up in the communities he seeks to represent, he owes nothing to the political establishment. He believes that protecting workers’ rights means making it clear that organizing, speaking up, and demanding fair treatment are protected actions, and should never be career-ending ones.

Consumer Rights

Poindexter believes the economy should reward hard work with wages and policies that allow working families to afford basic necessities, plan for the future, and live with dignity.

Utility Accountability

Poindexter has said that cost-of-living pressures fall hardest on those who can least afford them, including unfair and unreasonable utility profits. That demands an economy that puts working people first, not one that rewards companies for shipping jobs overseas or executives insulated from the realities everyday families face.

Healthcare Access

If elected, Poindexter would stand up for working families who deserve real access to affordable healthcare.Greater transparency and stronger protections are long overdue, especially when rising healthcare costs fall hardest on the people who can least afford them.

Anti Corruption

Poindexter believes that tax breaks, subsidies, and access to American markets should come with strings attached. Companies that want those benefits should be creating good jobs here, respecting workers’ rights, and investing in their communities. Corporate responsibility shouldn’t be the exception; it should be the price of admission.
